St Ergnat’s GAC , AGM Sunday 10th January 2010 at 7pm in the clubrooms , nominations etc to be received by 25th December by email to the Club Secretary Bridie Scullin at stergnatsgac@btconnect.com or by contacting any executive committee member .
All coaches , executive committee and all sub committee’s are to attend a Pre-AGM meeting to take place Thursday 17th December at 7.30pm in the clubrooms .

Antrim manager Liam “Baker” Bradley praised the club for their contribution to Antrim football at all levels and praised the contribution of Kevin Brady . Looking forward into next season Liam wants us all to continue to come out in numbers to the Mc Kenna cup and said there was no reason why we should not be able to pick up the Antrim title this year .
Joe Brolly gave a colourfull description of his former days and kept the audience on the edge of their seats . He also presented a trophy to Benny Marron for his school coaching sessions .
All sponsored walk forms are to be in by Sat 22nd and given to Elaine kelly with money . For the walk itself can you please meet at the Demense back gates for 2.30pm , the walk will take no loner than 1hr and then back to the club refreshments for all .

Irish Language Wed nights 7.30-8.30pm
Fiddle Wed nights 7.30-8.15pm
Irish singing Tue 7-8pm

It was a dull start to the morning but as the children arrived in their favourite GAA kit with faces painted the atmosphere changed to excitment not only at Millquarter but St Oliver Plunket in Toome and Moneynick . The club planted memorial trees to mark the occasion at the three schools buy club members and at Millquarter by our club chairman Gerard Weir .
Miss Murray and children from Millquarter watched chairman of St Ergnat’s Gerard Weir plant the tree to mark the beginning of our events celebration schedule .
Members of the executive committee attended the days event including Vice Chairman Anthony Kearney , Hugh Mc Cann , Bridie Scullin, Mary Martin and Stephen Mc Greevy P.R.O .
Children received tuition from coaches from the club Cailin Weir , Annmarie Mc Cormack , Benny Marron and Donal Laverty . Afterwards the children received certificates to mark the event.
It was a blue hair day for Cailin but it kept the rain off .

The Social and Culture Events Committee invite you to contribute a written piece or memoir about our club . This will be displayed on a history wall in the club rooms on GAA Day. If interested in contributing contact Elaine Kelly.
We would like to thank everyone who attended , bought ticket`s or involved in the running of Blind Date and The Crazy Floker`s Night. This night was very well attended and that was down to our tickets sales.Special thanks to our Senior men and women who sold the majority of the ticket`s and all attended on the night. This was one of our most successful night ran yet. Blind Date is avaible on DVD.
The Events committee are running a Youth Development Draw THE TICKET`S FOR THIS WILL BE GIVEN OUT OVER THE COMING WEEK. Draw will take place on the 10th of May at The GAC 125 Year anniversary Celebration`s. To mark this occasion we will be hold various event`s and entertainment for all. This is a big weekend being celebrate by every club. The main attraction on Sunday 10th of May is Lazer Quest and we will be running our Fun Day then as well, details of our celebration week end will follow. Remember keep that weekend free. Thank you for always supporting Club Functions.

The Social and Cultural events committee are gauging interest in running classes in the following after Easter for a period of six weeks anyone interested please contact Elaine or Brenda.
The classes we are considering are
a) Traditional Fiddle playing.
b) Traditional Irish singing, (English).
c) Irish language.
d) Traditional Tin Whistle.
e) Art`s & Craft
