Conditions were good and the support was there for both teams but the result was not what Cargin expected . Moneyglass on their own turf played with confidence all over the pitch making the most of every opportunity . The lads who have worked hard deserved this well earned result against their neighbours in this local dearby . Cargin senior team could not reply to Moneyglass even after playing their subs in the second half .
The Mens Senior team sponsorship is up for renewal for the next three years and anyone interested in sponsoring the team and getting their business advertised around the county by our successful division one team should contact our club secretary for further details at either bridie_scullin@o2.co.uk or stergnatsgac@btconnect.com .
Congratulations to our Senior Mens team who finished 3rd in Div 1 .

Any queries to team managers and reserve coaches.
The Minor are the first to play in the Semi-Final of the Championhip this Friday 31st in Randalstown at 7.30pm playing against St Enda’s , we hope to see you all out to support this young up and coming team who are also through to the final of the Laverty cup to be played later in August .
Seniors are to play Cargin on Sunday 2nd August at 6.30pm in Creggan .
The rain stayed away and the support arrived in droves from 10.30am onwards flags waving .
The day we had all waited for had arrived and Antrim were the underdogs against Tyrone All Ireland champions .
Antrim lined out and warmed up for the contest.
The final minutes and St Michael’s Band Enniskillen lead the teams around the field to the sound of “The Green Glens of Antrim”
Moneyglass supporters rose to see their county and players pass.
The Antrim team did us proud on the day and held Tyrone to a six point lead in the end . Antrim has surely turned a corner and rose from the ashes to the admiration of us all . Next year will see a more experienced confident panel stride along side the GAA elite and preform as everyone knows they can . Well done Kevin and the lads from us all at Moneyglass ,we hope to see Clones in a different light next year !
