Pub Quiz in Tumbledown Friday 10th February @ 9pm in aid of Club Youth Development . Everyone welcome come along and enjoy the craic. It may not be the million pound drop but the questions are delivered by our own game show hosta and all the proceeds goto Youth development.

· Youth Development Meeting: Thursday 2nd February 7.30pm in the Clubrooms. For all coaches, mentors and helpers. We will be assigning coaches to teams , setting out training schedules and discussing the way forward with our youth coaching development for 2012.
· Club Open and Registration Day: Sunday 5th February 2.00-4.00pm in Moneyglass Community Centre. This will be a chance to meet coaching staff and mentors. The club will also outline our plans for youth development in 2012. All players from all age groups must register as well. Light refreshments will be served. Memebers can also renew their membership for 2012.

This is a draft idea of how we could develope the site which has recently become available to the club to purchace .

Members and the community were well informed of the meeting when it was announced at Mass and through leaflets put through the school etc and a conciderable number of members turned up and greeted the plan favourably . Its now up to us and the community to get behind this proposed opportunity as we have talked about what we need for long enough and it is good to see things gathering a pace and pointing in the direction we all want to go.

The Antrim Ladies Intermediate Champions 2011 are St Ergnat’s GAC , Moneyglass and they celebrated after receiving the medals and a few soar heads on Sunday .

Annemarie Mc Cormack received Player of the Year from Donal Laverty part of the management team.

Geraldine Campbell received 2011 Ladies Reserve Player of the Year from Gerard Carey

The Ladies celebrate d their success and danced the night awy to the music supplied by Stephen Mc Stocker . It was then the turn of Mens football to recognise the players who have made the difference to their teams throughout the year . Minor Player of 2011 went to Niall boyd presented to him by his brother from the senior team Ryan Boyd.

Reserve player of 2011 was presented by Kevin Marron part of the team management to Brendan Marron for his contribution throughout thr year .

During 2011 it was difficult to single out one person for senior player and it was awarded jointly to Colm Duffin and Colm Mc Coy by James Marron part of the senior coaching team .

Special thanks goes to the members of the organising committee who arranged the dinner dance at such short notice . Everyone enjoyed the eveining and danced away into the early hours and there was a few soar heads and bad backs for a few of the older members who took part in rock the boat . congratulations to all the award winners .

Can you circulate this around especially as Xmas is fast approaching - it has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam:
A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact the on 0906 6611911 (a Premium rate number).
DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize .
If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £315 for the phone call.
If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 020 7239 6655.

Please note there is no charge for people getting screened.
Screening is open to young people aged between 14 and 35 years of age. A CRY cardiologist is in attendance to read the ECG and Echocardiogram, if an Echo is required. If any further medical referral is needed, the Cardiologist is on hand to offer expert advice.
CRY encourages everyone to get screened particularly those involved in sport. They have requested that coaches and parents encourage young people that have not yet been screened to do so.
