Postal Scam Alert

Postal Scam:

Can you circulate this around especially as Xmas is fast approaching - it has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam:

A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact the  on 0906 6611911 (a Premium rate number).

DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize .

If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £315 for the phone call.

If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 020 7239 6655.

Antrim Minor Trials

Saturday 12th November 2011 at 2pm for South West/North Antrim based players (SWvenue to be confirmed).
 
Sunday 13th November 2011 at 10am in Woodlands  for South Antrim based players .
  
All players must bring their own gear, tracksuits and water bottles.

Free Cardiac Screening

There will be a CRY Screening clinic at the University of Ulster’s Jordanstown campus on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of November. 

Please note there is no charge for people getting screened.

Screening is open to young people aged between 14 and 35 years of age. A CRY cardiologist is in attendance to read the ECG and Echocardiogram, if an Echo is required. If any further medical referral is needed, the Cardiologist is on hand to offer expert advice.
 
CRY encourages everyone to get screened particularly those involved in sport. They have requested that coaches and parents encourage young people that have not yet been screened to do so.

Dinner Dance 2nd of December Leighinmohr house

Tickets are now onsale for  the club dinner  , cost £20 per ticket and available from the organising committee , Damian Boyd , Ursula Madden , Mairead Mc Auley , Elaine Kelly , Cailin Weir , Megan Mc Glinchey  and senior players .

AGM will be on Sunday 4th  December at 3pm sharp in the club rooms

The Club would particularly welcome any new volunteers to help fill many of the posts as indicated on the attachments. If you would like to nominate yourself or anyone else (with their consent) for a post(s) please complete the attached nomination form and return to Bridie Scullin (Bridie_Scullin@o2.co.uk) as soon as possible but not later than Friday 25th November 2011. There is also provision on the form for any motions you would like raised at the AGM.
