The stage was set and the competitors ready to rumble as the music introduced these Spartin Heros oF St Ergnat’ GAC Moneyglass in a specticle which has not been seen in the parich since Gladiator the movie .
The bouts being contested in the spirit of the evening which was to raise well needed funds for the club.

Moneyglass Fight Night
Moneyglass hosted a Boxing fundraiser on Friday night which was attend by upto 400 people in the hall and adjoining marquee . The event consisted of ten bouts made up from senior players from Moneyglass who have been training for the past couple of months under the guidance of Sean O Neill and the boxing committee . The event was well organised and a huge success and ended with a disco with music supplied by Stephen Mc Stocker . Special guest on the evening was Eamon O Kane Common Wealth gold medalist who spoke during the interval encouraging all the competitors and praising the organisers for a well hosted event . Alot of prparation went into the fundraiser and the committee of St Ergnat’s GAC would like to thank everyone who organised , competed and sponsored the event , special thanks must go to James Marron , Sean O Neil and the boxing committee .

Sunday @Rasharkin U/6/8/10 Go Blitz starts at 11am and afterwards we are invited to stay at their funday.
The Go Games Blitz this Sunday has been postponed to allow the club supporters and teams to watch the game in Casement on Sunday . The blitz will now take place on Sunday 28th and the time will be notified by text .

Children from all the youth teams and senior teams joined in welcoming Tony back to his home ground and celebrate in front of the BBC cameras .
