Congratulations to the Antrim Ladies on their All Ireland victory against Limerick . It was a tense game for us all to watch and St Ergnat’s Ladies played a valuable part to the team effort on the day . Ciara Mc Coy in goals certainly played a significant part in saving a couple of goal chances which made the difference at the final whistle . Eimear Kelly was invaluable in defence and together with Aine Mc Elroy , Briget Scullion and Cathy Carey helped Antrim through to victory . Congratulations to all the panel on their achievement.

It was the last game of the season for the reserve team and also the chance to win the league and gain promotion to Div 5 . Everything to play for and the lads came out with one thing in mind , to win . It was a well paced game and a display of all round team work but Colm Quinn (midfield) , Sean mc Glinchey (corner back ) , Sean Laverty ( full Back) kept the door closed for the Lisburn forwards as Colm Duffin and Conor Boyd proved to much for the Lisburn defence . The final score 2-16 vs 3-3 , well done lads .
Our own Ant and Decco kept the night running smoothly and the banter flowing as the acts appeared on stage
The judges Helen , John and Deirdre had their work cut out
Donal ( do I look good in tights ) danced with a twist with Cailin and the Allen School of Dance

Tence moments for the girls from Maghera who danced for almost 10min
The winner on the night Ursula Madden , who won £200
Elaine congratulates the winner , did’nt she do well

CLUB BRANDING
The GAA is celebrating its 125th Anniversary this year and launched its new logo which appears on all its new shirts and correspondence . Clubs throughout Ireland and Ulster have also recognised this as an opportunity to modernise their clubs badge .
St Ergnat’s celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2008 and now wants ideas on how to refresh or modernise its brand as part of a new marketing strategy to support our development plan for the future . This will appear on all new shirts , newsletters and correspondence .
We have three options for our club badge .
1. Do nothing to badge
2. Modernise , refresh and add to our badge i.e. size , shape ,addition
3 Completely change the badge
We want club members and players to give us your opinion on how you would like to see the above happen , with ideas and sketches and return them by Tuesday 29th September at the club office between 7.30pm – 8.00pm or to your coach , managers or committee member . Youth players will also have the opportunity to submit their ideas through Millquarter P.S. Replies must include you name and contact number on an A4 page . Replies will form the basis of discussion on any future change .
Forms have been given out to the u6/8/10 and senior/reserve we hope that most families will have a copy and send in at least one reply . The underage girls will be given them at the weekend and we hope to see as many ideas as possible . The more ideas the better so please send in your thoughts in .
