Tir Na nOg 4:03 - Moneyglass 5:15

It was only in the last quarter of this game that Moneyglass really surged ahead. Tir Na nOg (Whitehill, Randalstown) settled quickly at the start, helped by two early goals. Gradually Moneyglass came back into the game, inspired by two great points from Seamus “Rumpy” Redmond, and led by three points at halftime.

In the early stages of the second half, Tir Na nOg played some very creative team football, helped by very solid performances from goalkeeper, Conor Reeves and forward, Ciaran “Cob” O Boyle.

However, once again, Moneyglass increased the tempo and great scores from Christopher Graffin, Conor Boyd and a superb long range point from Sean Carey, paved the way for a convincing victory in the end.

Best for Tir Na nOg, were keeper, Conor Reeves, along with Malachy Duffin, Ryan McCoy and Colm Sheerin. Moneyglass played great team football at times with outstanding performances from Francis Berry, Sean Carey and M T. Carey in defence, Seamus Redmond at midfield, and forwards Niall Boyd and Christopher Graffin.
