For the second time in a week, a rampant Moneyglass side scored 6-19 in a single game. Once again, the ever dangerous Ciara mCCoy proved too much for the away defence, scoring 2 goals and a point. Caoimhe Scullion was also creating a lot for the home side, scoring 1-2 in the process.
Even though it was a high score, the defence had a major part to play, with almost every glenavy attacked being snubbed out, while creating chances for the forwards. Centre half back Breige McAllister was like a rock for the home side, anticipating and destroying the away teams attacks, and she was backed up by the tireless Eimear Kelly on the wing.
Impressive football played by the home team, who never once were in any danger. Best for Moneyglass, Geardine McCann, Cathy Carey, Caoimhe Scullion and Breige McAllister.
